cheers, its got a site plus but ive never drilled the airfilter, what jet would need upgrading by the way I had a sito exhaust and when I fell apart, changed to bgm big box and noticed an improvement straight away. Jetting, what jets do you have at the moment 🤔

I'm going to take the carb apart when my carb cleaner turns up so I'll have a look

I've had a look at the Bgm big box exhaust, VE-UK have them for £149 But they say only for tuned engines not standard, that's given me the arse to be honest

Any exhaust over standard can be used, as long as the jetting is right.

my bad, its the bgm big box sport that's not suitable for standard engines, they sell the bgm big box touring which is suitable, I didn't realise their were 2 different options

ok so ive stripped and cleaned the carb, it had a 160 jet, something else with BE3 stamped on and another jet with 120 on, ive had this bike running like this without removing or even touching the carb for 13 years and it's done loads of motorway mileage, my concern is it seizing on a long run

Standard barrels can be mildly tuned. Ralph Saxelby and Harry Barlow did them. I have had both and they were very good. The advent of the performance box pipes has added a bit more to this. Stage 4 tune barrel and open up inlet windows in the piston. Match box and carb SIP Road 2 pipe Drill air filter SIP fast flow tap Upjet main and pilot Plus ideally increase the inlet timing (but that means crank out) Ive run my timing at IT setting (px) 21 degree not A (p2) 23 degree.
