Ok folks...is there anyone out there who has a definitive, fool-proof overview of Vespa colours by year and model number?
I have a 1969 125 Sprint, frame number VNL2T 66XXX. It has the original paint which I'm fairly sure is Rosso Corollo 811. On all of the online references I've found this frame number was not produced in this colour in 1969, plus VNL2T is always listed as a GT 125, not a Sprint... Was this colour the only red used on these scooters in 1969?
If and when I decide to do a full restoration on this scooter I'd like to get it right - in one of the correct colours for the year of production. I'm sure someone out there knows!
