Hi there!
Anybody know if it is possible to restore a metal Siem rear light body (Super/Sprint type "antique big")? Do these lights have a type of thin coating, or is it just that the exterior of the unit has been polished to a chrome-like surface? I'd just like to know if it is a good idea to use abrasives to repair some surface damage. I know these are available new, but they're expensive and I'd like to keep the original I have already.
