Question
Can hot weather cause high pressure in the fuel tank and force the fuel through the fuel tap?
I was thinking the fuel cap may not have been fully in place meaning no pressure could escape through the fuel cap?
Does the fuel tap have a way to let pressure through? Or is it completely sealed if tap is closed?
Over 1 week during my holiday the whole tank of fuel has emptied into the exhaust and some onto the garage floor.
Just trying to understand how a fuel tap works.
I am thinking at the moment to just replace the fuel tap
Any thoughts welcome 🙏

Thats a faulty tap, its passing.Tank out, tap off and investigate. I would just swap the tap out for a SIP fast flow Also the float is not closing in the carb. Strip the float top off and check it, the needle will likeky need replacing
