My 1999 px125 disc has no spark.

My 1999 px125 disc has no spark with key or kick-start. I've renewed the stator, cdi, ht lead, plug and cap. Still no spark. The last time it started I had to bump start it. Any help would be appreciated.

There could be many reasons for no spark. So back to basics, is the new stator in the correct position? Disconnect the green wire , that's the kill wire and let us know if you get a spark , if not we will move on to next stage

The fly wheel spins but no spark when green ‘kill’ wire is in place or disconnected.

Fuse is ok. Horn and lights work. Lights work when I try to start it. Horn when I turn on the ignition.

I found out that the new stator had a problem No Ohms reading between the green low tension wire and white earth wire, so I've returned it for a refund and have ordered another one from a different Vespa parts dealer. (arrives in a couple of days)... I'll let you know how I get on...

Hi all, the new stator arrived this morning. I put it on my scooter and it fired up and ran… Yeee!!!…Haaa!!!. I took it out for a 5 mile run; no problems went like a dream. Just goes to show that when you purchase ‘new’ parts, they could be faulty. I had the faulty stator on my scooter for a week before I found out that it was faulty. Got a full refund from the supplier today.

Just a quick mention, my original stator that failed, gave all good ohm readings when checked with my meter. I saw an article on u-tube that said just because you get the correct meter readings from your stator it could still be faulty. Thanks for all the replies to my post…
