I want to install led indicators.( My scoot is currently ac) .I know led's will only work on dc and I've read you can change the wires on the stat plate but recommends you get a battery. Will fitting a 12v AC/DC Voltage Regulator do the job? Has anyone had any experience doing this ?Cheers.

I have gone full dc on my px, and yes a ac/dc regulator will do the job, I bought the bgm one and easy to wire up 👍 also went with lithium battery, because of size

I've fitted the ac to dc regulator (bgm)(dc) just for the indicators the light staying on ac but now the scoot won't start. I've checked I'have got a spark but the engines not even firing. I confused from my understanding from the regulator onwards is separate from the engine .Any advise would be much appreciated.
