PX150 (2012) Tyre Recommendations

I have a PX150 (2012) which I try to use for everyday use, including a 12 mile communute.

I currently have Michellin S83 on split-rims (not looking to change to tubeless) which I am lacking confidence in (especially when cornering), it seems quite skitchish. I've checked the tread & tyre pressure, all seems OK.
Any thoughts?
Any recommendations for replacment?
All weather grip is more important than asethics or a high speed rating.

I have no long fitted a set of the bgm sport tyres, and they seem to be very good, even riding a bit faster than I should have in biblical rain on Sunday, but in my defence I just wanted to get home in the dry 😴, can't comment on how long they will last, as I've only done a few hundred miles.
