HI all , I'm in process of purchasing a late 80s t5 off a mate , its engine is complete but on the bench and not in bike , I am quite handy with spanners , had loads of bikes but this is my first vespa all my other scooters have been piaggio twistys Can anyone recommend a good repair manual Or is it just good old Haynes ? It's a t5 classic with square headlight swap and a malossi 172 , which I might open up and inspect b4 I shove it in , I'm going right thru the bike inspection wise , was planning on changing all cables , new rubber and new suspension It's been stood for a while and has a certain patina which I'm keeping , but was started and run about 6 months ago , the engine was removed to be installed into another scooter but never completed, thanks Chris fattaff

Welcome to the forum 👋. Haynes manual is helpful, there are good resources on the Internet, like scooterhelp and a lot of stuff on YouTube, and of course on this forum 👍
