Does it slide freely in the bore? What piston is it? Might be safer to get another, but then it could be fine, wouldn't really want to give advice incase it didn't work out

Its a polinin 152 piston.
The damage part feels smooth on the out side and it does slide freely in the bore.
pics below is after i smoothed it out this morning hoping it will be ok.

Agree 👍 with above make sure that it's not lost its shape if its good just gently smooth with a fine file / paper. Just check shape your barrel is lined isn't it? you can only wreck them once. But it looks OK be careful. Lucky could be worse.

I fried one of my kits 3 times, was well impressed. Like that scene in Snatch with Mickey and Turkish, what, proper f**ked??? 🤣

Now im thinking if it gos tits could i get the borrol re bord.
