At the start of the week, my scooter was stolen from my house. I have been fortunate enough to get my bike back within the week. However, some of the cosmetic damage is rather expensive to replace. The mudguards are relatively cheap to get hold of, but the glovebox is proving more of a challenge. I have a few ideas regarding this situation and wanted to see if anyone here has a solution. 1) I could do a temporary fix on the glovebox to protect the exposed wiring from the elements. Keep looking on forums for someone who has one, checking the auction sites. 2) See if a similar bike like the LX50 has a glovebox that would fit (unlikely) 3) Remove the glove box completely and go for the vintage looks that some of the older bikes have. I like the idea of the last one as I don't really use the glovebox and it keeps the story intact of the theft, it concerns me about moisture and compromising the security. I am wondering what people think about this? I am going to double my security at home with a camera and a new lock/alarm and imobalizer. Thank you for your time Liam
