Mode joystick hard to use - Does not recognize movement

Anyone experiencing issues with the Mode joystick on the Tech Vespa. Mine seems finicky at best. Up and right work great, left and down seem to have to push so hard that it feels like I would break the joystick. I called my dealer because scooter is still under warranty and he suggested I play with the thing for a while trying to force it to the tight posisitions and it should clear up.



Any personal observations for anyone on this?
