As titled..... see pictures I had the back wheel off to fit my SIP Road 2.0 earlier and noticed the smell of fuel and noticed a slight weep from the join between the black rubber thingy and the clear plastic tube Easy fix? Attachments:

Yes easy fix, look inside carb box and see if it's the pipe, jubilee clip or fiber washer, and change, or do up , easy peasy 👍👍👍

I have just been sorting a mates PX125. The spring clip used had lost its tension a bit. Use a small Stainless Steel 'Jubilee' clip. Effectively infinitely adjustable to give a good seal. Also, renew the two fibre washers that are used on this banjo that this pipe attaches to. You'll soon be sorted!!!!!

Some times the end which couples to the carb gets old and don't seal well. you can snip of half inch (don't do much more). The fresher piece of tube often seals better. But you can normally tell if thats an issue because it looks f'ed. Over the years they get ragged with screwdrivers and all sorts aswell as ageing.

Hello everyone regarding petrol pipe I always renew any petrol lines around 5 years or so as I once had a pipe split while I was warming up bike in garage with doors open and didnt realise until half a gallon of petrol flooded the floor apart from the danger of fire the smell through the house lasted ages her indoors was giving grief for a week happy days.
