HELP!
I have a 2012 plate PX150, ZAPM74200.
The light switch needs replacing as the on/off switch does not work & will not move between the on/off positions. The front & rear lights went off whilst trying to move the switch between on/off. The horn works.
I've removed the handlebar & horn covers without problem.
In trying to pull the electrical cable up to the headbar it felt rather stiff but it was moving (just). Realising that if it was stiff pulling the cables up it would be even harder feeding them back down I stopped. However, I can't get the cable fully back down and still have no front/rear lights.
Any advice gratefully received.
Richard

Hello there if its stuck I would take the tank out and pull through from under there. With a bit of luck you should not have to unattach the feul line just undo bolts on top of tank lift and turn gently it should yield enough room to pull the loom back.

Hi Scooterbooter,
Thanks for the reply. The issue is with the cable coming from the light switch on the handlebar to the junction box by the horn.
I've detached the cable from the junction box & it's now stuck in the "downtube" from the top of the handlebar & junction box.
Regards, Richard

Oh I know what you mean! I've always find gentle wiggling and something like a straightened coat hanger (make a bend to create a hook one end and you got a multi tool ) to push it free or pull though in these situations I just go slow and stop at any resistance. There is room if ever there isn't it means something is in the wrong place. Good luck
