Primavera start up rattle

Hi,
I HAVE A 2019 PRIMAVERA 50cc with 3000 miles....it has a metalic rattle when I start it,which disappears immediately as the engine engages and cannot be heard when idling or riding or revving the throttle,
When I took it back the dealer said it was normal and something to do with the clutch housing sounding like a bell...and nothing to worry about? This doesn't sound quite right to me so am looking for any advise.

Hello there I would take belt cover off and start it to see if you can tell where noise is coming from. Or wait and see if it gets worse to see if its easyier to identify. I have a x9 250 which when you switch off and engine comes to a halt it turns backward on its last turn and gives off a clunky sound which is the clutch bell. good luck with it and let us know how you get on cheers alan.

Hello forgot to say if it's under warranty dont touch it and possibly could be starter motor engaging good luck alan.
