I have a 1958 motovespa and there is some corrosion (not bad) in the fuel tank which keeps blocking my carb even though I have a filter on the line. Can anyone recommend a fuel tank treatment and sealer that works well ?

If you look on "frosts" website, they are a car restoration specialist site, they will have what you need to sort it out, Google them 👍 when you find the product you need, then Google that and you will probably find it cheaper elsewhere 😉

Is it possible to get a new tank ? Might be more cost effective 🤔

The tank is original and not that bad plus I like the original spring latch system which for the lid which the new ones do not have. I think a rust treatment and coating would be the way to go.
