T5 flywheel

Is it possible to remove centre boss from flywheel and put in another one?
I have 2 flywheels for my T5 one creates a spark the other doesn't but the one that works has knackered extractor threads, while the dud ones threads are perfect.
So can I swap these with each other?

I would say yes. BUT can you re rivet it back on, with the knowledge that it will be secured well, because they spin around very very fast, and don't want to think about what might happen if it came loose or completely detached

Yeah it looks doable to me.
Has anyone on here done it without disastrous consequences.
