Well sort of, MSC (Midland Scooter Centre), will supply a new PX125 with a brand new out of the box P2 engine for £3'300.
Just what I was after but the bathroom / wife won.
Just for anyone that might be interested.
They only have 7 x P2 engines left.

I've just ordered an LML from Eddy Bullet with a 200 engine. £2400. That's pretty much the same thing for quite a lot less dosh!

Erm, are you getting a dealer special or something? Only it's not all that long ago that Eddy Bullet was selling LML 125s for £1349. In fact, Grand Prix Scooters in Leicester were selling them for £1450 just last summer. £2400 seems like a big mark-up for a 200 engine to me.
That's the sort of price I'd expect to be paying for a PX200, not an LML.

If you look at their website they had a couple of scoots on there going for £2455, but I think they may be dealer specials. I'm going to ring them and find out for sure. I'm not commited in any way and so can cancel if I think it's too expensive.

Just got off the phone to Eddy Bullet. The basic 125 scooter is £1500, but if you then add a PX200 engine and Sebang shocks it bumps the price up to £2500.

^ it's an LML then not a PX, with an LML 200 motor? . I did have a look on Eddie B myself as they do sell new P200 motors, seemed a bit vague about the origins though.. sure there is nothing wrong with a LML, but bear in mind lower resale, some difference in parts blah blah..

In that picture it looks identical to a PX, what are they like quality wise?

That seems to depend on who you talk to. I have spoken to the guys at Eddy Bullet and they say the quality is actually better than Piaggio, but then they would. I've also spoken to acouple of guys who own them and they say the same. I haven't seen one in the flesh myself, so couldn't say. Spence and Bryno don't rate them I don't think, but in the end you pays yer money etc.

I don't really have an opinion on the quality, I was really just pointing out that they are less desirable than a Piaggio, so cheaper, but resale values are of course lower, I was suprised how cheap they are 2nd hand.
Eddie B's site gives some good info on the detail differences between LML and PX..

Hey, if Skodas, SEATs or Kias that get made by VW were as good as VWs, they'd be a VW.
I have one thing to say on this subject: "Buy cheap, buy twice".

I've not taken it personally chaps.. I recently bought a brand new Kia for my wife, I've never been much of a badge snob, but do believe in buying quality, the Kia came out top of the pile in JD Power and a few other surveys, so not a problem IMO, same with Skoda.. not that you'd catch me in one of them of course LOL ;D Here's little & large! Sorry, slightly off topic there, but back to the LML, you really need to speak to someone who bought one to get a balanced view, I guess most of us on here would take a 'proper' Vespa every time
