are these ebay kits from india any good and any idea if i will get hit for a import tax- think my bike is a p125 ets with a 54.7mm piston from about 1985

Don't know if they are any good, but you will get hit with import duties, why don't you just get a cheap kit like the dr135, that you can buy in the uk, saving any hassle with imports and vat

any idea where i will get that kit,i am only going for this kit as i cant find the 54.7 piston i need for my 50mm barrel

You can get that kit from beedspeed, vespajets ve just to name a few, also if you search dr135 kit on Ebay you will find it there
