I am toying with the idea of building a chopper, so has anyone got a set of extended forks they want to part with? Have a set of chrome forks with a spiral leg(didn't want to put twisted 😁) non disc if anyone interested in doing a trade, or buying. Adrian

Adrian Hi Adrian, in the early 80s i had lambrettas and vespas and i extended the forks on both when i chopped them both, on a lambretta the rid is great (as long as not to extended),, but on a vespa you really got to make sure its what you really want for the simple reason is you are sat right over the engine anyway and extending the fork on a vespa makes it even lighter at the front, i know cos was on way to a run in 80s with mates and got stuck behind a lorry in abit of slowish moving traffic then opened the throttle as went to overtake the lorry and front wheel left the ground and nearly ended up under the lorry....wont do that again 🤣

I gave up on the chopper idea, and I'm building a cutdown street racer instead 😁
