Indian lml engines

Hi - Just trying to find out if anyone has ordered and received one of the Indian lml 150 engines advertised on EBay? Is there any major problems people have come across - any unforeseen taxes charges etc? Are they any good as a replacement for original Vespa engine? I don’t have any engine for my scoot so looking at best way forward. Any help guidence help at all would be most appreciated.

I haven't bought one, but a guy I know who works on scooters recommend them to me a while back when I was looking for a replacement engine, and he said that he had bought a couple of these for customers and hadn't had any problems

Had a reply from the scooter mechanic, and he said that he hasn't had any problems with the engines regarding vat and import fees, but that was before Brexit, yes I know it's from India not EU but imports have changed recently and you will have to pay import duties

Don't know where abouts you are, but there are plenty of good used engines about, I was lucky enough to get a new px150 engine from Ebay for £300, luckily nobody else bid on it 😁
