I recently bought a a px200 that had been completely refurbished, when I took the side panels off for the first time, I seem to have a real job getting them to fit back on like they were when I bought it, there's always a gap no matter how hard I try to fit them, is there a way of doing it, or adjusting them I need to be aware of? Any advice would be welcome

Hello everyone.I was the same when I first took one off. I always try to push the end with the pin which is bent round a bit which is on the right hard In and hold it there while hooking top fitting on then push down with left hand while pushing in with knee once in the hole on the left reach up and lock it in with bar under seat. when you do it a few times you should get the rubber strip even all round.practice makes perfect good luck alan.

Thanks guys, someone I know looked at it for me, and suggested that the rubber tubing that covers the hooks on the rear of the panels was maybe a bit too thick, and night be better with very thin hose instead, or even just good quality insulation tape, does any of that sound familiar to people with experience π€ cheers for the feedback off everyone

Yes that might help, hadn't thought about the rear hook rubber mounts, try it and let us know how it goes

The tubing on the hooks never interfered in my experience, itβs practice.

The tubing on the hooks never interfered in my experience, itβs practice. All depends on what tubing has been put on there by a previous owner
