Okay, would like your thoughts & advice on this. I'm 6'2 and ride a Smallframe. I know there are plenty of tall people with smallframe Vespas out there but i am really in 2 minds whether to exchange it for a largeframe as I feel too big for it. At the moment I have a standard style seat on it and I'm debating putting a smaller sports seat on it to bring me closer to the headset as it seems so low down. That should also bring my knees down but will mean at standstill my legs will be more bent, which in itself isn't really a problem. Would like to know what other riders find best? It's been a very long time(30 years) since I had my PX & Rally so I can't remember how they felt to ride. I was surprised to read in a early 80's Vespa brochure I had knocking around that there is only 3 and a quarter inches difference in length between my V100 & a PX and my V100 is actually half inch wider? Find that hard to believe. Wheel base is one and a half inches longer on a PX.

I am 6ft and also have a smallframe, I never felt quite right on it, so I got myself a px and I feel far more comfortable on that, so I have bought another px that I am tuning, so sadly my smallframe will have to go, but did enjoy riding it, but I didn't look right on it, try and see if you can borrow a large frame for a day or to and see how you get on with it

I've always loved the Styling of the Smallframe Vespas but I think like you I might have to admit defeat. I took the Wife out on mine the other day and it felt a little unsafe as I was almost touching the handlebars lol & she is only tiny. I've seen a Sports seat for 2 by sip that has a profile of only 8cm so that would help a lot with handling and lower me right down. Would be interested if anyone has found a lower profile seat helped?

I sit pretty far back which helps a bit. I used to ride Lambys in the 80's and always felt comfortable on them. definitely sat lower down than on my Vespas. I just feel like I'm towering over the handlebars of my V100. Maybe it's worth trying a lower seat first before I part with it.
