Hello can anyone advise me on buying a drive belt for a 2001 x9 250cc honda engined.my Pxs are off road at present x9 is dew a belt change. Honda belts expensive is there a good belt as good thankyou for all your help cheers alan.

The local bike/scooter shop I use will only fit genuine belts and rollers, for it to have a warranty on there work, they will fit other makes but no warranty, so I think you should go genuine regardless of cost, as a failed belt could really mess things up. Also a friend fitted another well known brand belt and rollers and it didn't last as long as girlfriend genuine, both on 250 gts doing same sort of mileage. But pay your money and take a chance
