Hi everyone, may I introduce myself:
I am Laurent P. AZOULAY, French (nobody is perfect, but I am), 68, I move 10 years ago to Thailand where I am now retiree in Hua Hin on the West coast, 170 Km south of Bangkok.
I always had a passion for bikes and scooters, In France I own many bikes and had always a VESPA PX to circulate in this messy, cloudy, jammed Paris where I lived during 58 years.
I have few knowledges of mechanic allowing me to fix most issues on my bikes.
At present, in Thailand, I own a 1998 VESPA PX 200 FL2 I bought second hand as direct import from Japan. I fit this scooter with many accessories and modify few things on the engine. VESPA PX is a mythic respected bike in Thailand, it is possible to find small and big frames, the sales of VESPA PX 125 have stopped in 1917, all over the country. for the profit of 4 strokes engine such as LX and others.
I ride around 10.000 km per year with this PX 200, and have no special issue with it, engine is stock and runs well as correctly tuned.
I will try to post some pictures, further, but it looks a bit complicated...
keep the power on, cheers everyone.
You can find me on FB as Laurent AsYouLike, present as well on Line, What'sApp, Twitter, Messenger and others.

Hi Laurent...I just googled vespa shop Hua Hin and your post came up.We have a condo in Hua Hin and hubby has a Vespa 150 there,to use when we are on holiday.Could I ask you what insurance you use and does it cover you for hospital bills? The travel ins we have, only covers us for up to a 125 and the insurance we took out in Hua Hin,is really only vehicle damage cover..not to us!Wish we were riding out in HH,but it will have to wait until we arrive in January. Keep safe riding.Di
