Hi all, I have Carbone Adjustable shocks fitted front & back. Question is does anyone know which I adjust them for heavier loads? I asked Sip who I bought them off but they weren't any help. I'm being thick but do I want them more compressed or less for carrying me lol. (15 stone 7) Any help much appreciated. Si

I have the same shocks on my smallframe, the way I found to adjust them was to go softest and work my way up, until I found a ride I was happy with. Spent a long time adjusting them

The heavier you are the less compressed as your weight will compress them 👍

For carrying heavier loads you probably want to icrease the compression damping and increase the spring pre-load, but like Adrian highlighted start soft and work your way up to a harder/stiffer setting (just the shock absorbers, not any body parts!) until you achieve a comfortable setting for your riding style and load.

Thanks all for your replies & advice. Didn't subscribe so only just seen them. Much appreciated. I've set them at their longest setting(least compressed). I think this has raised the Scoot ever so slightly which is helpful for me too. Thanks again. Si.
