Hi. My PX125 has been running a little flat, lack of power, poor acceleration, so decided to investigate, I removed the carb box, air filter etc and noticed that there was a pool of petrol at the bottom of the carb, outside of the slide on the left of the carb as you look at it, has anyone got any ideas? I've tightened the bolts on the carb (allen key bolt) Help!😳

Ok, thanks Alan, good name that👍 I'll have a look over the weekend, I often forget to turn the fuel off, do you think that would affect the issue?

Hello if you leave petrol tap on it will be ok only if your float isn't sticking if it sticks open petrol can flood into engine.but always turn fuel off it's the safest way.cheers alan.

I have this problem too - on a brand new carb. So I’m assuming it’s the old pipe leaking. Anyone know the correct length of the fuel pipe and if it’s the same pipe size for the oil line? It’s probably worth replacing both at the same time.

My air filter was dripping with fuel when I took it out too.
