Hello. Today's problem is my Rear hub. I have a 2012 PX125E. the handling became odd the other day.
I found the rear hub was wobbling. I stripped it down, The nut holding it on was easy to undo It's supposed to be 65ft/lb Torque. No wonder it was wobbling. My problem is trying to order the correct one.
The Sellers, Allstyles and Buzzsolomotor have conflicting information as to which Hub I need. Could someone tell me which one to order please?

Try and speak to Gary at Allstyles. He's got a lot of experience (so has Ray and Billy too at the same place)

Hi Del, I've had the same issue, I've got a 2015 PX, the rear nut on mine is 24mm, I have bought a 24mm socket and nip the nut up every month or so. This is a ballache though as you have to remove the split pin and castle nut cover to access the nut. 🙄

Thanks mosschops. That's worrying. the retainer is supposed to stop the nut loosening.
Thanks ironsloth.I went to a club meeting last night and I was given the same advice. I'm replacing the nut anyway as it's good engineering practice. I hope the shaft threads are in good condition and the nut isn't jumping across the threads.

I would be surprised if the nut did jump threads to be honest, once tightened with the pin in place, it shouldn’t really move. You also don’t have to buy the nut from a scoot shop, any decent hardware place should have them. Do you have any die nuts? If so, get the correct size and run it down the thread, will clean it of any crap. If not, wire brush it. Sorry if I’m telling you how to suck eggs... ðŸ¤

It's a fine pitch M 16 x 1.25. every other nut on the planet is 1.5. If it didn't jump it must have been fitted and not torqued down. I live in Kent, UK. I found the correct hub at TASS in Margate. It's twice the price as everyone else but it's a genuine Piaggio one and it's keeping me and the Road apart.

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181485533918Take a look at that. I’m lucky, I’ve got a scooter shop up the road, I know a lot of the nut and bolt firms in the area, and the motor factors too, all within spitting distance.

I checked the shaft thread and it looks OK. Iv'e ordered a new nut with the hub. Thanks for your help. Del
