vespa engine light On help needed

Hey wondering if anybody could help I have a 250 Vespa gts everything was fine until I couldn’t use the bike for a few weeks went back to the bike and battery had died so charged up the battery and engine light come on and hasn’t gone off drove it a couple times no troubles with the bike until I went back to the bike a day or 2 later and battery was dead charged it and it took only a hour to charge does anybody have any idea what could be the problem?

Hello how old is battery also battery not regular used tend to die.try a optimate.
have you got a alarm that could be draing it.i would check handbook see what it says about light let us know how it goes good luck cheers alan.

Hello. Alan is correct. Even a new Battery that is flattened by a circuit connected to it will cause the plates to sulfide up in a few hours thus ruining it.
