Can anyone help please ? i have completely rebuilt a 1985 Vespa 125px efl (so it needs running in) I would like to know the best SAFE jetting please for reliability. polini 177 kit, Malossi reed valve, dellorto 28 phbh, sip road 2, slight New racing crank, ported. 21t COSA gear. (the existing jets in the carb are 250 float valve, 70 ? 55 ? 128 ? 268 ? And my needle measures 26 along taper ) any advice would be much appreciated ?

Nice one Matt, yes similar, I don’t want to run it lean and someone said richer is best - but what settings ?

yeah, mine is spluttering through the gears but carb tuning has always been my weak point

Found this earlier brother lfs.alexander-hepp.de/Looks like it is a list of peoples contributions to what they have found to run ok on their scoots. I will take a closer look at it over the weekend but look like you select 177 in the dropdown menu then scroll down to Polini and look for what best suits our setups. Might give us an idea of where to start based on what other people have tried and tested
