Supertech navigation problems

So having bought my first ever Vespa (GTS Supertech) i've now starting to play around with getting satnav instructions to display on the screen. Now i'm having a varying level of success with this. My phone is a Galaxy S10e with the Vespa Mia app installed. Now if i connect the phone directly to the bike with the USB cable the connection is great and never drops out. However, if i try to do the same thing but across the bluetooth connection the instructions last for a minute or 2 and then drop out. I don't want to particularly plug the phone in everytime mostly because the glove compartment gets very hot indeed and the phone would not enjoy this.

I know these bikes are quite new to the market but if anyone can help i would be most appreciative.
