Doesn't look familiar to me, Spence might know. Looks nice though - I'll swap it for mine - it'll match my car then ;D

As long as that's just water on the floor all around it in the second picture!
No, I don't recognise this scooter. But there's lots of scooter riders in Liverpool that don't go to the club.
Nice to hear from you though Scotty.

Hi Big Scotty, I was browsing another but nowhere near as good scooter forum as this one tonight when I saw the same scooter slightly different question. The guy had asked to view the scooter and this is the response he got
"The scooter is still available! I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major business problems so pick up isn't an option. Sorry about that... Hope you will understand... But, you can still buy the scooter... The selling price will be 750 pounds... For this price I will include free delivery of the scooter anywhere in the UK. You will also have access to a refund policy on this transaction. However, before any delivery can be done we have to start the transaction on ebay so we can be both protected. In order to start the transaction on the eBay system I need to receive some details from you: - your full name and address (for your invoice + delivery purposes)... As soon as the above details will be provided I'll start the official transaction on eBay and they will notify you about this. You'll also receive important guidelines + instructions from them ( please go through them exactly ). Will wait to hear from you. Thank you for your interest..."
Dont know about you but it seems dodgy to me. It was also reported that the same scoot was on sale for £1800 before Christmas. The guy also has zero feedback.
Good Luck

May be genuine, but i don't like it.. Out of town so can not be collected, but he can still arrange delivery Out of town presumably means you can not go and view it, thats handy £750 delivered, so call it £700, its a bit tooo cheap for a mint looking T5 Transaction through Ebay? why do that?? he then pays fees, much better to do the transaction off Ebay, cash on collection etc, advantage for seller through Ebay is of course cash before delivery And zero feedback

The words "rat" and "smell" immediately spring to mind.

Thanks Spence. I got the same reply when I asked to view it too. I think I'll leave it well alone. Cheers!

It seems our suspicions have been confirmed about this. I heard yesterday that someone from Yorkshire has been duped in this deal which was indeed a scam. Apparently the cheque was cashed in the Maghull area of Liverpool.
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Tried to buy the scooter myself, offered cash on delivery, was asked to give all my details so that he could "sort out an E-bay transaction" what other kind of transactions do e-bay use??? already set up to give reasonable protection to buyers. Happy he wouldnt do a C.O.D. deal, got myself the sale of the Century a few days later from a local seller in Scootering Magazine.

Report him to Ebay, even though they are useless gits.
He doesnt need your details, as if you set up an Ebay payment account you have to put your address in to verify.
SCAMMER, Kill him.

Unless they are fine for an inspection of the bike first, wouldn't even consider someone with no or even low feedback. Asking for trouble.
Some tw*t done me out of a Fred Perry jumper the other day, 25 quid down the drain. After a lenghty process I will end up getting about 2 notes back from Paypal. He had 40 good feedback and no negative, long time user 'n all so it was unexpected.
