Hi All, At the grand age of 51 I finally decided that time was running out on me to fulfil my dream of owning a Vespa so I finally bit the bullet and booked my CBT. Off I went to find just me and a 16 year old called Tom on the days course. Tom was a super lad who was looking forward to his days of independence on 50cc although riding behind I do hope his Road sense improves and fast. CBT done and next day off to the Scooter shop where Harriet sold me the works - gloves, jacket, bike cover, helmet and oh yes a Vespa GTS Super 125. Still canโt bring myself to tell the Mrs how much I spent. So next week I shall be out and about but something troubles me - whatโs the view on us twist & go folk - do the lads and lasses that ride the heated Vespas welcome us or are we plastic Vespa riders. Can I attend the odd rally or will I be sneered at. Whatever the view I am pleased to join the Vespa world. Madgeyyy x

Welcome, 2 wheels good as far as I'm concerned. I've had a wave from bike and scoot riders on both my scoot and my bike, except from Hardley Ableson riders of course. I bet they don't even wave to their wife and kids.
