Hi everyone,
I have seen a helmet online which I may buy, however what is putting me off is the country of manufacture is Thailand. I have seen several negative reviews, comments and feedback about scooter parts purchased in the Far East. Can anyone offer any advice, thoughts or suggestions with regard to see this as it is fairly expensive ?
Thanks very much for reading.
Best Regards

You have to ask yourself, what price do you put on your head, in the event of a crash

I wouldn't chance it. Take a look at these guys, I'm fortunately only up the road from them, they are pretty good:- www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk

I would not buy a helmet online, go to a shop and try them on, buy one that fits the shape of your head and is a known good brand name, do not risk fake or copies or anything like that, it is just not worth it.

To many fakes on the internet,,go to a proper shop,,try an buy, Around ten years ago,on holiday in Spain went to a motorcycle shop and seen a crash helmet in the window, cheaper than the uk the quality was not the same, weight feel of it,padding was Not as good to thin,,,cheaper to buy YES, BUT THERE WAS A REASON TRY BEFORE YOU BUY

I've learnt that there's more to helmets than just size. Fit is the key thing. Different brands suit different head shapes. I bought an agv and it fit great but the same size bell moved around too much on my head making it useless in a crash so I'd advise to always go into a shop and try a range of helmets on.
