Looking at buying a Serie Special. Is there any difference, apart from the paint to a regular PX200? Is there anything I should look for that's particular to the Serie Special? Any info gratefully recieved.

Think its just paint mate, but be sure to get the presentation pack that came with it, will become very collectable one day Seem to have been a fair few SS's for sale recently, personally I'd not pay much of a premium if any over a regular P2 at the moment..

It should have a little plate on it somewhere showing the limited edition number, a charcoal grey seat and, as Bryn says, a presentation pack.

I really like them, I know some say they are an acquired taste looks wise, but I think they look great. If I was after a 200 it would probably be a SS.

Check, check and check ;D All those things are present, it's No 168 out of 400. Currently having a bit of work done, as soon as I get it home I will post some pics.

Gaz, I haven't actually picked it up yet. The guy that owned it didn't look after it very well consequently the paint and the badges and stuff were a bit tatty. I'm buying it from a dealer who has resprayed the mudguard and the panels, replaced all the badges and the panel decals, so it will look pretty good when it's finished. It's done 1800 miles and I paid £1800. I don't know if that is a good price or not, but I have seen them go for £2000 plus. It's completely standard The engine is ok and sounds sweet, so I'm hoping I haven't bought a lemon!

Not looked after, 1800 miles and its getting parts resprayed, hmm, I guess you could say thats not looked after.
But if the dealer is making it good... thats good.
You have seen it in the flesh have you?
