Hello , i am looking for some help as i want to rebuild the carb on my Rally 200 including the gaskets, what bits do i need and is there anything i should consider. Be gentle with me as im not very technical minded. Cheers

You should be able to buy a gasket/seal set for your carb... make sure all mating surfaces are clean before putting it back together and everything seats nicely, you'll get horrendous air leaks (revving uncontrollably) otherwise. A smear of vaseline before fitting the paper gaskets helps.

cheers mate yes i see you can get a gasket set but what about the bits inside ie float , fuel filter etc.

The filter can be cleaned and you would generally reuse the float and needle unless you know the carb is flooding. Take your time and make sure everything is completely clean before reassembling. Use a small paintbrush to remove cruddy buildups in the float bowl etc. Dip the brush in an eggcup of clean fuel or carb cleaner. I like to put carbs together on a piece of clean cardboard like the inside of a cereal box.
