new member, vespa immobiliser

First post,thanks for excepting me.I have always had retro vespas and still do but just bought a non running 65reg primavera 125 ie.seems as if tge immobiliser/cdi is tge problemIts far too modern for my brain.Any pointers to solve this, we have ignition, all lights, but no cranking over from the handle bar, it will with a direct lead to the starter.I have seen cdi units for sale that bypass the immobiliser they all seem to be for carb models not injection.I have both keys and a card with number code on but as i say im not savvy with modern scooters, cheers for any pointers.

First thing is to check the flash sequence of the immobiliser light when the ignition is switched on. You can find a workshop manual online somewhere, I can't remember them, other than if it flashes more than once there's a problem
