Hi does anyone know of a good seam sealer to use to protect body gaps, before body prep and paint? Is there a good brand I need to use? Any info would be appreciated.

The brand to look for I believe is sikaflex ? but the type that used to be recommended has been superseded by a something else in the range.
I think I've got some at home, I'll try find it and post the type on here.
I do know it stuck like a very sticky thing and I was able to paint over it.

best to phone dingbro or some other supplier, Sikaflex and tigerseal is more for bonding, you just need a seam sealer, there is plenty on the market, all do the same thing, I use brush on seam sealer from hb body I think, I just clean the excess with paint thinner on a rag.

Just in case you have any bigger gaps to fill, I think it was Sikaflex ebt or something like that.
