Hi , Anybody out there got a decent photo of a 1952 Vespa??? Deliver Jags back to customers for a living, got talking to old boy who owned the Jag, transpires that he owns a 1952 Vespa in good running condition, comes out of the garage in the summer to be run around the garden, offered to buy the scoot, there and then, couldn't get him to open up the garage though, offered me the scoot with the purchase of his house on Millionaires row, any generous benefactors out there with about £2.5 million, would really like this scoot asap. On a more serious note does anybody have anyidea as to the value of such a scoot in good condition? cheers

How long's a piece of string?
It'll depend on the model and the condition of course, but if it is a 1952 (probably a Vespa125 if it's got the mudguard headlight, the 125U didn't come out until 1953 and the first GS wasn't until 1955) and in really good nick, I'd guesstimate somewhere in the region of 3.5k.
What does everyone else reckon?

cheers guys,
lucky old sod, he has the scoot given, will persue the old kid with a view of having it donated to a good cause (me) dont want to spend that much on another Vespa, in process of buying Lammy TV 175, to compliment my other scoots, SEE introduce yourself and scooters \ my scoot. Already invested £5k ++ in these three, and another £3k for the TV, can't afford to keep on buying at this pace (only been back on the scene for less than a year) with a host of kids also screaming for scoots its not a cheap hobby.

For a 3.5k vintage Vespa I'd cut his grass with nailscissors.
