Thinking of getting into the old scootering. Havent passed the test or anything yet. What do you recommend for wheels? know any good sites?

Have you got a budget set? Are you after a brand new model or secondhand? Go to www.vespa.com to look at the new models and prices, and get yourself a copy of 'Scootering' magazine (www.scootering.com) - there's a trading section in it for second hand scoots. Avoid that 'well known auction site' for pricing - it's too overpriced. If you need a bike to pass a test on, buy a vespa T5. Chat to your local scooter club (again, lists found on scootering.com website) and they'll be able to give you some proper advice

bad boy ;D listen to what lucia says, the t5 is the way to go, quick enough and parts easily obtainable and its possible to take youre test on it ....LEGALLY

Yep, T5 would be my recommendation, always a few on Fleabay or in Scooter Trader ;D

i remember my choice for a rather beaten ET3 as my first ride. millenium falcon i called her. fasted POS in the west london area..hahaha T5 are definately a good option but a nice older PX would suffice also in my opinion.
