hey guys, just wondering how you folks ride your scoots, obviously the ladies ride side saddle . but what about the guys? i personally ride mine in the hokey kokey style, left knee in right knee out. i also sit quite far forward on my seat so I'm kinda upright and proud like a gentleman on his trusty steed.

I used to sit right at the back of my seat, arms fully stretched out and head down, looking mean. But after 5 miles or so it killed me back. So now, I sit at the front of the seat, with me knees sticking out and back bolt upright. No pain at all, but it doea knock 5mph off me top speed!

Since fitting front crashbars to my PX, I find I have to have my feet sticking out more than before, otherwise it can result in some nerve-jangling, coming to a stop and not being able to get your feet on the floor in time moments.
Always sit right at the front of the saddle though, it's the moddy way and as Scotty says, much easier on the back. Arse at the back of the seat and hunched forward is strictly for Lambretta TS1 frustrated motorcyclists.
Missed you in Germany this weekend Scotty, you missed a blinder mate. Photos coming soon.

Missed you in Germany this weekend Scotty, you missed a blinder mate. Photos coming soon. Good to see you had a good one Spence. I'm having a nightmare at work at the moment. Can't plan me life more than 2 weeks ahead. Trying to get free for the ND bash in Feb though, fingers crossed. ;D

roughly in the middle, with feet sticking out at 45 degrees (same reason as spence with crash bars) leaning fwd to go up hill and back to go down ( tho when the wife is on as pillion , backwards ain't so easy, and sitting a little further fwd). still, quite comfy even at 6'5". ;D

i ride it with left foot on the bar, and the right on the floorborad, BUT, whenever i ride with my girl, i have to put the heels at the end and my feet are sticking out on each side , thus i look like a frog....

I've got single seats on both my vespas so I sit where my saddle dictates generally, about mid-way between front and rear, I find this most comfortable also. My feet stick out the front edge of the boards and centrally if it's windy. Having just passed my test on the LML my missus wants the full length seat back on for lifts on the pillion. I am resisting this course of action because I find riding with a passenger a pain in the arse as I have to worry about them scratching their bum and sending me into a tail spin every time they shift their weight. So, I ride solo and like a loony with my knees in the breeze, what other way is there?

In a skirt, and knee high boots ;D Now that I would like to see! I just thought it and didn't actually say it, like a few others I reckon Come on be honest. I personally find it a bit breezy around the Cairngorms riding while wearing a skirt Gaz
