Hi Guys, I used to regularly visit this forum back when I first bought my PX brand new in 2007. It's now time to get it back on the road. It's been sat for around 8 years in a nice dry garage. I'm after some tips to get it back all working again. Right now it's not rolling too well, so thats the first job. What other needed steps or recommendations would you guys do? I'm for sure going to: drain the fuel & oil tanks. get the cables moving again. new pads. Perhaps re-grease and repack the clutch. Anything else that you guys can think of?

Check the tyres for flat spots, and check to see if they still feel like rubber, and not like cartwheels.

I would drain the gearbox oil. Fill it with new oil. And push it in gear with the clutch lever pulled in. That would at least give you an idea if the clutch plates were stuck together.
I would take the Carburettor off, turn the crank to expose the big end bearing. Syringe 1/2 a Teaspoon of oil over it. Squirt 1/2 teaspoon down the spark plug hole. Kick it over several times.
Strip and clean the Carburettor before putting it back.
