Hi Group, I need some advice please as I have a 1967 180 Rally which was imported into France years ago but not registered, I have the official paperwork in thai. I have now purchased the vespa and want to import it into the UK and register it. I have seen that I need to register it and firstly get a Nova number but wondered with the history above if it might be a can of worms?

I think you are asking two different questions here:

1) what is the current UK process for registering an imported scooter

2) is my scooter a bag of sh*te.

The answers to the first question can be found on HMGov website.
The answers to the second question depend on how much you paid for the scooter, how much money you are prepared to pay for renovation or how skilled you are at welding, and lastly how much do you value your life?
