Hi all. Here is my question.
Upgraded to 7 springs clutch. New 3 plates clutch disc. Soaked over night using SAE80 gear oil. New basket. New separate bush and pressure washer. Clutch separating test is good. I also rebuilt the cush drive as well.
Clutch disengage and engage fine. Gear change is fine. Roll free in first gear. The problem is only when start moving from stop in first gear the engaging is not smooth and create loud grinding noise. The bike will suddenly lurch forward no matter how slow I release the clutch lever. As soon as the bike is moving then 2nd / 3rd gear it will not make the noise.
I want to mention that what I pull the clutch lever and shift to 1st gear, there is no grabbing issue. Until I release the clutch lever to the engaging point, the bike will suddenly jump and make noise from the clutch.
I removed the clutch again and again did not see any grinding marks or abnormal sign. Exchanged 2nd set of new clutch plates behaved the same. Anyone has some ideas to help me to determine what caused the problem? Much appreciated.
I step on the rear brake, release the clutch half way. The clutch made the noise.
When I released clutch (no matter how slow), the engaging is not smooth.

I recently fitted a complete FA Italia clutch with uprated springs and it was a bit snatchy when moving off in first gear and it also made a strange noise that sounded like a screetch but it stopped after a couple of outings, I had taken it apart and soaked the plates in oil before use also.

I think my clutch issue is solved. After many test and trials, I found that the clutch back plate was not aligned correctly. This little mistake caused the rattle noise and grinding issues.
There is a small hole on the back plate when it align with the small hole on the basket, the 7 springs holes should offset a little bit. At the very beginning I through this is not correct so I managed to ignore the small holes and align the back plate until the 7 holes make the least offset. I overlooked this.
Now it is solved.

I'm zizi and want to know what happen at my bike. Let me tell you, one day I have just setting up my carburettor. Then make the full rev to high rpm, suddenly the bike were shifted it self and the bikejump fall to the ground, the engine dead. Stand up the bike and try to start, it's started but with loud Knocking inside the engine. Try to shift gear and move but cannot make proper gear engaged. I'm in trouble.

Oouch! that sounds like you have desroyed your gearbox. Reving it at full tilt has vibrated the bike into gear and the force of that engagement has damaged something in your gearbox I would suggest. You may have also bent your crank.
Do let us know what you find.
