I'm bored tonight, so excuse my wafflings.
Yesterday morning I ventured through the Mersey tunnel to find a cheap carpark in Liverpool (£2.50 ALL DAY). Discovering why it was so cheap, I nearly bought myself a new pair of shoes after a 20 minute walk.
Anyhoo, I was pleasantly chuffed to see one of these tucked away (excuse the litter, Liverpool's not perfect yet)...
After dodging some Big Issue sellers (sorry, but you get in my way!), I managed to march up to kooky Bold Street. Passing through Ressurection (some nice scoots in the shop display), I didn't buy anything - in fact, a bit disappointed to find Merc and Lambretta brands in there, I didn't bother looking in the laydees section downstairs. £120 for an imitation parka put me off. Don't let me put you off going though - it just doesn't rattle my jewellery.
So, I pretended to look interested in 'retro' (god I hate that over-used word) flight bags, I shuffled out up the road to a MUCH better shop - but this is my problem, I still haven't got a clue what it's called - maybe my fellow scouse forum readers can tell me?
Armed with my trusty Samsung, I stole some photos - purely for research. Found a little music table selling useless items that made me wonder how long the novelty would wear off if I bought them. (see photos below).
Some nice shoes in there too, but a pair of desert boots for £120?
After this, I visited Probe Records (yes, real records) followed by a visit to the Fact Picturehouse for a piece of coffee cake and then ceremoniously mopped up my coffee I managed to spill all over the table. Nice. I need to get out more, I was the only one in there without my wireless laptop and black poloneck jumper.
Liverpool is cleaning up nicely, I definitely recommend our readers going for a shopping experience. And Liverpool SC is the friendliest club around if you fancy a Thursday night out on your scoot.
I hope I haven't bored you too much this evening.
