Hello all, has anyone got a Vespa helmet? Was looking at the 'Soft Touch'. Any thoughts/advice please.

I've had two, one for myself and one for the ex-wife. I got mine because it was the same green/tan as my first scooter. I soon decided, through stone chips in the face and looking like the lead singer of the village people, that it wasn't the helmet for me and I went full-face instead.
I won't knock them, I just think it takes a certain shape of head to carry off the Vespa helmets.

I've got one that I got when I first bought my scoot. Don't like it for the same reasons that Spence stated. No face protection at all and less than flattering shape, they are huge! Now I'm not massively vain but it isn't much fun riding along looking like a mekon ;D
I haven't gone for a full face one now but I don't know how I ever managed without a visor. As well as the stone chips (one of the buggers got me down hill in Buxton in my 'soft touch' period) to worry about there there is also the wind making me blubber like a little girl.

I like the look of the soft touch lids - I've never worn a Vespa helmet, so I don't know what the fit is like - the 'normal' ones do tend to look a bit on the big side though. I like this vintage one...

I've got a vespa helmet but not a soft touch . I like wearing it, 'tho only on sunny days and not on long distances. I find mine's a very comfortable fit.

I've got a white one, it looks really strange on me, not that all helmets don't, but find it a bit loose as well. Got an open face with visor know which is better in weather, but gonna get full face asap for winter

Check out the Caberg breeze, I think they look well with scoots
