You might have picked the wrong site for an objective poll.

In all seriousness though, I know this is vespa.org.uk, and the majority of us ride Vespas, but lots of our members and visitors are also Lambretta owners and this is first and foremost a site for scooterists despite its name.
So it all depends on what shakes your thing.

the joy of scootering for me - whether you ride a lambretta or a vespa; are a mod, skin, scooterboy, psycobilly or any other scooter rider - is that there feels to be a camararderie between us all, more so than appears with those who ride motorbikes ( except for the goldwing riders and trike riders maybe) and that litlle nod of the head or wave of the hand as you pass each other on the roads says alot.

I love riding my GTS because it's so smooth and responsive, but nothing gives you bigger kick than riding a scoot that you've renovated,or built from scratch yourself. In my case that was a Lambretta.

As you can see the person that started this thread is no longer a member. Perhaps they were looking for a different answer.
