help-went to get on my scooter home after working a 13 hr shift and someone had broken my steering lock-so engine wouldnt start?has this to do with the imobiliser also?? had to get a taxi home and leave it-im really worried about it> is is an easy job to fix>? costly?the key just turning round in the lock but cant start it-no power..>?

You may just need a new barrel for the lock but I'm not sure as I've never worked on a scooter with an immobiliser. You could try asking on yhe TAG forum: www.twistngo.com/userforum/index.php

very sorry to hear about your scooter., b*st**ds !!
On the newer px's you can remove the horn casting and loosen of a small grub screw to slide the whole ignitio/ steering lock barrel.
Does the ET have a little luggage box in the legshield as I would imagine removal of the shroud inside the leggies will expose a similar grub screw.
This is pure speculation, but its still a vespa afterall, so yuo may find this to be the case
