It is a valid article and it is correct that if you want an established business to purchase from then it is going to cost, this is not the same as buying from a guy working out of his shed, however the savings are there to be made if for example you want to be involved in the restoration process and learn how your scooter was made and is put together, then join a forum, ask questions and get started, we all have to start somewhere.

a load of self justifying bull-pucky to me . ive seen some of retrospectives work , an his part prices are massively inflated ,an theres no way he's buying projects at 1500-2000 . he's quoting london prices . so he can keep his shiny paint jobs .H

I've got to admit, you cannot put a price on knowledge. I can understand the parts side of things (sourcing, quality etc) it all takes time, but there are so many auto butchers having a go, f**king the job up completely, for it to cost literally thousands to sort out. It's tough telling the arsewipes apart from the time served knowledgable ones, it's like a minefield. For me, I'm glad I found this website, and for owt really tricky, I know a company who can (and more importantly will) help me out when I'm forehead deep in sh*te as I run my thing everyday. Hang on, I think I'm in danger of putting something helpful on here.... 😕
