Hi everyone, Boy, how things have changed! Let me start my little intro with a bit of history: I got my first Vespa, a 150 super, back in 1979 for the princely sum of 25 quid. In the following 5 years of scooter passion, nae, obsession may be a better word, I owned a P200E, a GP200, a Vega and a SX 200 (with an AF 250 conversion - very rare in those days). Of course, the PE was my everyday transport and could always be relied upon to get me to the rallies and allnighters nationwide. Back then, tuning and repairs were always trial and error, either self-taught, or learning from the other lads in your club; there was no internet, no forums to seek advice and certainly not the huge availability of parts and goodies there is today. We had to be a little more innovative in them days! Old scooterists never die, as they say and despite over three decades passing and having left England's pastures some 16 years ago (I'm now settled in Thailand), the faint whiff of Belray has never (hypothetically) left my nostrils. So, I'm like a kiddie at Christmas having just bought a PX 200. My first scoot in 30 odd years So, thanks to all for welcoming me back. Oh, and do forgive if some of my future requests for advice seem a little inane; I am a little out of the loop, both technically and geographically. But, I tell ya what, it's ****ing great to be back on a Vespa again! Cheers, Charlie
