Anyone clued up on T5 imports can advise me ?

Going to look at a tidy MK1 T5 from a dealer in Halifax this weekend ....

It was imported from Murica (Spain) and registered in the UK by the dealer ...

I've had tons of photos (which I can upload if needed)

I asked for the Frame and engine numbers :

Frame -   108C * 02558

Engine -  108M * 02048

Does this mean anything to anyone  ??  tried googling but no joy ...

…which says “VESPA T5 SPORT ELESTAR 1987 frame:108 C 00011..., motor:108 C 00011...”, so looks like you’re spot on (but I think your ‘M’ is correct and they’re wrong there).

Champion mate , it's deff worth a look then maybe 2558th produced there and engine number etc  ...

Ooh , got quite a rare 1 there ,t5 mk1 with leccy start ,nice .an being spanish hopefully fairly rust free . the achilles heel of t5's is the square tail an top shock mount area ,english ones had a habit of rusting out there .so have a good look if buying it . an dont be surprised if the tacho/rev counter dont work ,most dont .
an sime ,how dare you suggest were wrong over in smallframe world ,we cant be we ride smallframes .tho not so good at typing sometimes , the c instead of m's a typo i guess . H
